Mister Donut
When I was in college I read a story of Mister Donut.
I don't remember much, but the budgies and the solitude - a lonely man waiting in a lonely cafe.
But now, I know the joy of Mister Donut - the warm soft
sweet cakes.
Shared with the man I've come to love - on a second date, after long train rides, and on rainy afternoons.
I measure the love I have for him between trips for donuts.
